Program Information

The Fall softball season is a great opportunity for players of all ages to compete against other quality teams from York and Eastern Adams county. All girls are given both physical and mental instructions in the fundamental skill and rules of the game of softball, according to their age and abilities.

Practices begin mid to late August. Games will begin September 9th and run through October. All games are double headers and played on the weekends except 10U (which plays one game with an extended time limit).

League Information

The age groups that JLS is offering this fall are:

  • 10U – two teams will be formed. Roster will be limited to 13 players
  • 12U – one team will be formed. Roster will be limited to 13 players
  • 14U – one team will be formed. Roster will be limited to 13 players

Your player will be automatically placed in the age group based on her age as of January 1, 2019. Participants may not be older than the age group they are in as of January 1, 2019.

Registration Fees

JLS resident – $85 ($35)
Outside the area – $95 ($45)

Prices in parenthesis are discounted for those who register by August 15.

Uniform Information

Uniforms are not required for the fall season and players will not have the opportunity to purchase one. However, if a player has one from the summer season, they may wear it for fall games.

Refund Policy

JLS Recreation Association will review ALL refund request on a case by case basis.

Transportation

Transportation to all practices and games is the responsibility of the parents/player. Competitive teams (major) offer a high level of play while refining skills. Recreational teams (minor) offer the ability to learn the fundamentals.
